For nearly 3 years I have been a designer for the Interactive Group at Smashing Ideas. While teamed with such a great group of people I have had the chance to work on some stellar, fun, and exciting projects. Yet, my passion for new media and cutting edge technology has made for many of sleepless nights.
Learning and researching as much as possible about AIR, Flex, Catalyst, mobile/device UI design, the “digital home” and who-knows-what-else has risen an interest in Smashing Ideas’ Mobile and Devices division. So, as soon as a position opened there was no hesitation, I eagerly jumped at it.
On Monday, I will be starting as a designer for the Mobile and Devices group, and I couldn’t be more excited. It may technically be a lateral move, but a move that will hopefully strengthen my passions and enthusiasm towards the Flash Platform, mobile design and development, Flash on TV/consoles (which i am BEYOND excited for), as wells other emerging technologies.
As I continue to learn and grow within my new position I will be posting about as much as I can.
