Yesterday TweetDeck updated to v0.34.1 with several nice, new features included. Among my favorite new features are: Scheduled Tweets, Translate This Tweet, and Recording Video from Webcam.
Yet, even with a bunch of new buttons to push (some old ones have been moved around, and to my dismay) there doesn’t seem to be much improved in the most important part of TweetDeck: The Tweet itself. (more…)

Shortly after MAX in October last year, I was watching my twitter feed roll through when a tweet showed up that caught my eye. I don’t remember who said it, or what it was completely about, but I do remember that it was about a conference. Since I sat on the sidelines reading tweets about MAX, saddened that I wasn’t able to make it, my ears (er, eyes) perked up but there wasn’t much more said.
A short time later – maybe a day or two – another tweet appeared. In it the author mentioned the same conference but this time with a link. Upon clicking that link there appeared a humble little blue and gray site. Not much there, a Flash navigation, some mention of a conference and a lot of “coming soon” type text. “OK,” I thought to myself, “they must be just getting something small started.” (more…)

Exporting movie clips from Flash’s library can be quite powerful. You can use each SWC as a component in another FLA much like loading an external SWF. But what if you have multiple MCs you need to export in the same FLA library and don’t want to go through the hassle of right clicking each one and selecting “Export as SWC?” That takes time. So instead grab this zip and follow these steps on exporting multiple movie clips as SWC.
